Two Tulsa personal injury attorneys reached a settlement Wednesday after one accused the other of illegally soliciting accident victims for business.

As the News on 6 first told you Tuesday, Attorney Jeff Martin accused the Bergman Law Firm and three other businesses of the activity.

The lawsuit alleged a newspaper called the Tulsa Beacon would buy accident reports and victim information and then share that information with Bergman's lawyers, Trinity Restoration Body Shop and Bewley Chiropractic.

Then it claims callers who convinced an accident victim to sign up with one of those businesses was paid a $25 bonus.

Martin's attorney says the defendants agreed to a permanent injuction shutting down this sort of solicitation.

David Miller of Trinity Restoration says his body shop was dropped from the suit.

The rest of defendants reached a settlement with Martin, the details of which neither side can discuss.
