The latest victim of a rash of carjackings in Tulsa says he's shocked the suspect in his case is a 14-year-old boy.
Nelson Sierra and his sisters were going to their car Sunday night when the carjacker shot Nelson in the shoulder. The suspect then demanded the keys to the car, jumped in and drove off. Tulsa Police recovered the car, but didn't arrest the suspect until Tuesday afternoon.
Nelson Sierra: "I feel really sorry a 14-year-old is able to do something like this."
Police say the 14-year-old suspect had brass knuckles and whiskey when he was arrested. He'd just been released from custody after robbing someone with a BB gun.
He also had a burglary arrest when he was just 11.
