McALESTER, Okla. (AP) _ A 48 year-old Henryetta woman was killed when she swerved to miss a deer along the Indian Nation Turnpike south of McAlester and crashed her car.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Judy Gobin was northbound on the turnpike just before 10pm Saturday night when she swerved to miss the deer and hit a guard rail. The patrol says Gobin was pinned inside the vehicle for about two hours and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two passengers in the car were treated and released from a McAlester hospital.
