OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The Oklahoma Lottery plans to kick off on Thursday its online game called ``Pick 3,'' where players pick numbers that are selected daily in a televised drawing.
Lottery officials say the payoffs will be smaller but the chances of winning will be greater than the top prizes on scratch-off tickets that hit the market October 12th.
To play, a number is selected from each of three sets of numbers from zero to nine. Players can mark a ``play slip'' that is inserted into a lottery terminal, tell their numbers to a clerk or have randomly generated numbers. Players receive a receipt showing their chosen numbers.
Up to five variations of Pick 3 can be played, and each play costs one dollar.
Prizes range from 50 to 100 dollars. The odds of winning range from 1 in 100 to 1 in one-thousand.
