Grassfires in northeast Oklahoma are blamed for one injury Thursday.

At least three homes have been destroyed. In Creek County several fires popped up near 81st and 49th West Avenue. Crews from Tulsa, Sapulpa and Berryhill worked to put out the flames and protect homes.

A barn and one mobile home were destroyed. No one was hurt.

Authorities in Rogers County call a fire between Oologah and Talala suspicious. Several small fires combined and burned a square mile of pasture. One person trying to fight the fire was hospitalized for heat exhaustion and smoke inhalation.

Eight fire departments from three counties got the fire under control.

One fire truck was heavily damage.
