NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Educators and government officials from Great Britain have been in Oklahoma to learn about the Sooner state's prekindergarten programs.
The group has toured schools in Edmond and Norman as part of a two-day early childhood exchange tour.
British Consulate-General vice consul Mitchell Jeffrey says the group wants to learn how Oklahoma educates young children and incorporate those ideas into their schools.
Jeffrey says Oklahoma was chosen because the state ranks as the best in the nation for preschool education in a study by the National Institute for Early Education Research.
