SALISAW, Okla. (AP) _ The first ``racino,'' a casino at a horse-racing track, is now open at Blue Ribbon Downs in Sallisaw.

The track owned by the Choctaw Nation opened the casino with 250 games yesterday.

A percentage of the revenue from the games will be paid to the state as part of the tribe's compact. Another portion of the revenue will go to the Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission to increase purses at the race tracks.

The horse-racing season at Blue Ribbon ends in two weeks, but the casino will remain open during the off-season.
