McALESTER, Okla. (AP) McAlester police have arrested two employees of a fast-food restaurant for a fire that destroyed the business.

Police say Taco Bell employees Joseph Godwin and Jeffrey Mitchell were arrested for arson and embezzlement.

Police say the fire was apparently an attempt to cover up the theft of more than $4,000 from the business. Police say the money has been recovered.

Fire investigators estimate the damage to the restaurant at $800,000.
