Investigators are going through evidence in the case of a 12-year-old Tulsa girl who was was grabbed on her way to middle school Monday.

It happened near the girl's apartment complex at 21st and Mingo.

Tulsa Police say the girl tried to run away, but, the man grabbed her and knocked her to the ground.

They believe the only thing that saved her from a sexual assault, was a fire truck going by with its siren on that scared the man away.
