MEEKER, Okla. (AP) _ Funeral services were held today for a 2 year-old Meeker girl whose death is still under investigation by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

Pottawatomie County District Attorney Richard Smothermoon says the investigation into Kelsey Briggs' death has been extremely complicated.

Authorities say Kelsey was killed by blunt force trauma to her stomach. No arrests have been made in connection to her death.

OSBI Spokeswoman Jessica Brown says Kelsey's stepfather, Michael Lee Porter, called 911 about 3:30 PM Tuesday to report the child appeared to have had a seizure.
