SALISAW, Okla. (AP) _ The Choctaw Nation will open the state's first racino on Monday.

The Choctaw Nation spent $5-million in November 2003 to renovate the 30 year-old Blue Ribbons Down racetrack.

Other racinos are expected to open by year's end at Remington Park in Oklahoma City and Will Rogers Downs in Claremore.

The state auditor's office and inspector's office project the two rural racinos both to produce nearly $3.8-million a year for race purses and breeders.

The state will receive an estimated $7.3 to $12.3-million a year combined from the three tracks.
