Home invasion robberies are on the rise in north Tulsa. Tulsa Police are hunting for several suspects after another house was hit early Monday morning.
It's the fourth attack in a little more than a week. Police say three men burst into a duplex on North Irvington just before 4 AM Monday. They robbed the family at gunpoint.
Similar crimes happened at three other homes last week, with groups of armed men kicking in front doors. And there's one common denominator, in all four cases, the victims have been Hispanic families.
Investigators say the robbers may have targeted them for a reason. Tulsa Police officer Scott Walton: "that Hispanics may be reluctant to come forward and make these reports for fear of contact with law enforcement for any reason."
Tulsa Police want to encourage more people to leave tips on the Crimestoppers hotline at 596-7000.
