NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma investigators say a weekend explosion on a college campus was the act of a suicidal Colorado Springs man -- not the work of terrorists.
21-year-old Joel Henry Hinrichs III died Saturday when a bomb attached to his body exploded near the University of Oklahoma football stadium.
It happened as more than 80,000 people inside the stadium were watching the Sooners play Kansas State.
OU President David Boren says the engineering student had experienced what he would call ``emotional difficulties'' in the past. But Boren says there's no evidence to indicate Hinrichs had any motivation other than his own problems.
Hinrichs' sister, Berkeley, says her brother may've been doing an experiment, and didn't mean to kill himself.
