The City of Tulsa got a big gift from the Boeing Company Tuesday.

Boeing donated a 36,000 square foot training center for the city's use. The building at 9234 East 2nd Street is valued at $300,000 and will be known as "Boeing Hall."

Tulsa Mayor Bill LaFortune: "The City of Tulsa is greatly benefiting from the donation of this training facility and we have a great need for it particularly when our human resources department has to train large groups of people this building will be invaluable for that training."

The center was built 11 years ago and is at the north end of Boeing Park near 2nd and Mingo.
