TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- A Tulsa-based pipeline company is resuming limited operations Monday in the Gulf of Mexico.
Explorer Pipeline is restarting facilities in Houston and Pasadena, Texas, that transport gas, diesel and jet fuel from the Gulf to the Midwestern US. The two facilities transport two-thirds of the company's fuel.
Another Explorer Pipeline facility in Lake Charles, Louisiana hasn't been assessed for damage and a facility in Port Arthur, Texas, isn't ready to restart operations.
The pipelines were shut down September 22nd in advance of Hurricane Rita.
