Hundreds of Tulsa citizens know what it is like to overcome physical challenges every day.

A new facility now gives them a helping hand. The Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges celebrated the grand opening of its new facility Thursday. It's equipped with the latest cutting edge technology, including a gym, classrooms and art studio.

Executive director George Moudry: "this is the only facility in the United States that offers such a breath of service we have physical fitness, wellness, rehabilitation we have recreation, therapeutic recreation, we have community reintegration, so we have a great scale of services."

The center will enable thousands of people facing physical challenges to increase their physical capacities and learn new skills.
