OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- First lady Kim Henry will be at Camp Gruber today to deliver toys to children who evacuated New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
The toys were collected during the annual Septemberfest held on the grounds of the Governor's Mansion earlier this month.
Henry's also scheduled to tour a Head Start program at the Oklahoma National Guard camp set up by the Oklahoma Partnership for School Readiness.
Meanwhile, the number of Louisiana citizens housed at northeastern Oklahoma camp continues to plunge.
Lieutenant Colonel Ron Ragland, the camp's commander, says a bed count showed 352 evacuees Monday, down from 564 people who were in the barracks on Friday.
Red Cross spokesman Nellie Kelley says the number of children at the camp was well under 100.
