Cancer survivors and supporters laced up their running shoes Saturday morning for a great cause.
The Susan G. Koman Race For The Cure took off near 81st and Lewis Saturday. It's a fundraising event for breast cancer research, but racing chair Margaret Kings says it does much more than that. "It's an inspiration for people that have just been diagnosed to see the number of survivors and the support."
6 in the Morning's LeAnne Taylor took part in Saturday's activities, which included a fun run and a traveling breast cancer exhibit.
