Bristow Police arrest a woman who was hoping to get donations by posing as a hurricane evacuee. A relief group became suspicious of Gwendolyn Cooks.
Police say Cooks told them she grew up in Baton Rouge and got flooded out by Hurricane Katrina. When Bristow Police couldn't find any records under the phony name Cooks gave them, they called Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Bristow Police learned the street she claimed to live on doesn’t exist.
Police eventually learned Cooks' real identity and learned she was from Tulsa and has a past arrest record.
