OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Governor Brad Henry says a proposed camp at Falls Creek for Hurricane Katrina evacuees is standing down because large numbers of refugees are no longer expected.

Henry and state emergency management officials had worked with the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma to prepare the camp for evacuees.

But Henry said Tuesday afternoon that Federal Emergency Management Agency officials have told state officials there will be only a small number of refugees in the future.

Henry says any new refugees sent to the state will be housed at Camp Gruber near Muskogee.
