STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- Oklahoma State is adopting a new grade for students caught cheating, plagiarizing or helping someone else cheat.
The grade is called an "F shriek" and would show up on the student's transcript as an F with an exclamation point.
The exclamation point can be removed if the student takes a noncredit course on academic integrity and has no other violations. Students could be suspended if caught cheating a second time.
OSU associate vice president Gail Gates says about 90 instances of student cheating are reported at OSU each year.
