A fire at a Tulsa home at 47th and Boston could have turned tragic, if not for help from a passerby.

Shortly before 1 AM, someone driving by the home noticed the fire and called it in. Two people were sound asleep, but they got out safely.

It's believed the fire was caused by a faulty air conditioning unit.

And Tulsa Fire investigators are still looking for the cause in a morning house fire.

A man who works at night found his garage full of smoke just before 7 AM Wednesday. It appears the fire started in the attic.

It caused about $20,000 in damage to the kitchen and garage.
