We now know how a Georgia man involved in a hit and run boating accident died.

The Tulsa County Medical Examiner says 35-year old Murray McGarvey was killed by a boat's propeller before he went into the water.

McGarvey was at Grand Lake celebrating his godson's birthday. He was thrown from a boat after it collided with another boat near Drowning Creek Cove.

The owner of the boat that took off has been identified as John Special of Stillwater.

No charges have been filed in the case.
