The trustees with Tulsa's Kirk of the Hills Church have voted to disaffiliate the congregation from the Presbyterian Church (USA) denomination.

The church is located at 4102 East 61st Street and has 2,800 members.

They say the decision was based on the national denomination's departure from the authority of the Bible and its historical beliefs.

Kirk of the Hills will now affiliate with the Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
