The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a â€œSpeed Frenzyâ€ email circulating on the Internet is a hoax. <br/><br/>The OHP says they are not participating in a speed enforcement event as outlined in the email.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a â€œSpeed Frenzyâ€ email circulating on the Internet is a hoax.

The OHP says they are not participating in a speed enforcement event as outlined in the email. OHP Lt. Pete Norwood says the Oklahoma Highway Patrol will however be taking part in the National Impaired Driving Crackdown Friday through September 4th.

Lt. Norwood would like to thank those who have contacted the OHP regarding the email.
