Kids at Liberty Elementary School in Sallisaw thought they'd get an extra day off, but that wasn't the case.

They started classes even though Tuesdayâ€™s thunderstorm took off part of the school's roof.

Water damaged caused $100,000 in damage to four classrooms.

A lot of textbooks were ruined, but much more was saved by a helpful community.

More than 200 people started the cleanup effort just hours after the storm came through Sallisaw.
