A Rogers County Commissioner is facing federal conspiracy, money laundering and fraud charges.
Randy Baldridge was arrested Tuesday morning and the News on 6 was in the courtroom, when he arraigned before a federal magistrate.
A federal grand jury indicted Baldrige on nine felony counts. According to court documents, the commissioner and a group of co-conspirators filed fake purchase orders and work contracts with the county, then took the money and services for themselves. Baldridge is accused of defrauding Rogers County out of $5,000; some of it federal grant money.
Baldridge entered a 'not guilty' plea and was released on bond.
He says he does not plan to resign from the county commission. Baldridge is currently running for re-election.
