Fewer Oklahoma teens are lighting up these days.
The city and state health departments say that between 1999 and 2005, tobacco use rates dropped 41-percent among Tulsa County high school students, 52-percent for middle school students.
The numbers are also down statewide.
During that same period of time, teen tobacco use dropped by 21-percent for high school students and by 28-percent for middle school students across Oklahoma.
