This August heat is taking its toll on many of our trees. They are dropping leaves like it was early fall.

No one has more trees in the ground than Up With Trees in Tulsa. They have 450 sites with nearly 18,000 trees.

Up with Trees has watering crews that care for their newest plantings. Scott Parent with Up With Trees: "we are going around with our water trucks to meet about a one week to ten day schedule to get each tree 10 to 15 gallons of water."

These young trees get watered around the trunk where the roots are.

Established trees need water out under the spreading branches to most effective.
