OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A 47-year-old woman is accused of assault Monday after she drove her van into a home's garage door, striking a man who was standing behind it.
Police say Lorna Nailon was arrested Sunday on complaints of assault with a deadly weapon and domestic abuse.
The man, who wasn't identified, was tossed into a wall by the impact. He was listed in fair condition at an Edmond hospital.
The incident occurred about 1 pm. Police say the man was standing at the garage door trying to pull it closed when the van's driver floored its accelerator, sending the vehicle crashing into the garage.
The van left deep tracks in the home's gravel driveway. The home's one-car metal garage door was bent inward from the impact.
