TACOMA, Wash. (AP) _ The Tacoma Rainiers batter Oklahoma starting pitcher R.A. Dickey for eight runs en route to a 9-2 win over the RedHawks.
Tacoma scored four runs in both the second and third innings last night against Dickey, who struck out eight batters in six innings but also gave up eight hits and eight runs.
A 2-run home run by Oswaldo Navarro keyed the Rainiers' second-inning outburst, and Hunter Brown delivered a 2-run double for Tacoma during the third.
Joaquin Arias went 3-5 for Oklahoma, including a triple and a R-B-I, and Adrian Brown went 2-5 with a double. The rest of the RedHawks combined for four hits.
Francisco Cruceta picked up the win for Tacoma, allowing six hits and two runs in six innings. He walked four and struck out six.
