The mysterious death of a 16 year old girl. Tulsa Police need help re-tracing the last steps of Sarah Nassif.

Someone dumped her on a Tulsa street and left her for dead Sunday. She died Monday and is the city's 42nd homicide of the year.

News on 6 crime reporter Lori Fullbright explains how you can help solve the case and bring peace to her family.

Sarah Nassif, as you can see from her driver's license photo, was a very pretty girl. Her life though, involved more than the usual growing pains of teen life. Tulsa Police say she became pregnant and married at the age of 14. Records show it didn't last because in February of 2006, she filed for a protective order against her husband, on behalf of her and her child. The next day, her husband filed a protective order against her. Both orders were dismissed and a week later, the couple came to a shared custody agreement.

Tulsa Police Sgt. Mike Huff: "She was a young mother. She'd been living out on her home for a couple of weeks. We don't have good information on where she was staying or her friends and that would help the investigation."

Tulsa Police say someone dumped Sarah at 35th and 129th East Avenue. She had terrible trauma and was unconscious. She was found at 4:45 AM Sunday and Tulsa Police have tracked Sarah's steps up until 2:30 AM, but need to know what she did and who she was with that last hour two hours. Police say there may be evidence the victim was sexually assaulted, but they're not taking anything for granted, so they'll wait for the medical examiner to determine that as well as how the victim died. In the meantime, Sarah's mother is grieving the loss of her daughter and Sarah's child is now motherless and they need answers. If you have any information about this case, please call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS. If your anonymous tip helps police make an arrest, the Citizens Crime Commission will pay you up to a thousand dollars in cash.
