Zebra mussels have been found again in Grand Lake.
The mussels were discovered by a fisherman in Ketchum Cove. Grand River Dam Authority has been monitoring the lake for the mussels after a sighting in February of 2005. At that time, there was no evidence of reproduction.
This time, authorities say they found evidence of reproduction which means the zebra mussels are spreading.
Zebra mussels are filter feeders that wreak havoc on biodiversity, recreation and power generation.
