STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ The Oklahoma State football team has a verbal commitment from a Texas high school defensive lineman.

Defensive end Jamie Blatnick of Cisco, Texas, says he'll sign with OSU over Texas Tech, Duke and TCU.

Blatnick is 6-foot-3, 245 pounds and says he chose the Cowboys because it's a program on the rise.

Oral commitments are not binding. The national signing period begins in February.
