Tulsa Police are investigating the city's 39th homicide.
Officers were called to the Apache Manor at 3600 East Young, just before 1 PM Sunday for a report of a shooting. Witnesses say some men were standing outside of an apartment when someone started shooting.
Tulsa Police Captain Eric Dalgleish: "the suspect just calmly walked down the sidewalk, produced a hand gun and started firing directly at those males that were congregating."
Officers say the suspect fired at least three times and hit 21 year old Tyree Rodgers.
Rodgers was unconscious when he was taken to the hospital where he died a short time later.
