OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Life in prison is the recommended punishment for an Oklahoma City man convicted of a fatal convenience store shooting.
Twenty-two-year-old Qualon Eugene Hawkins was sentenced yesterday to life in prison with the possibility of parole for the July 22nd shooting death of 35-year-old Timothy Ceasar.
Witnesses reported seeing Ceasar arguing with two men before he was wounded in the parking lot of a southwest-side convenience store.
He died the next day during surgery.
