OKAY, Okla. (AP) -- Okay's town board is disbanding its police department.
A town official says law enforcement duties will be handled by the Wagoner County Sheriff's Department.
Town Clerk Dana Hammack says police Chief Steve Myers and three reserve officers were fired from the force last week.
The town of about 500 residents is located in Muskogee County, about 12 miles north of Muskogee.
