LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) _ The Arkansas Travelers pound out 16 hits last night en route to a 14-7 win over the Tulsa Drillers.
Arkansas scored four runs in the third inning and never looked back. The Travelers sealed the win with a six-run seventh inning. Aaron Peel led Arkansas, going 4-5 with two doubles and five RBIs.
Tulsa starter Juan Morillo allowed six hits and four runs in 2-and-two-thirds innings. Tulsa lost despite recording 14 hits, including a 4-5 performance by Seth Smith, who had two doubles and a home run.
