TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- After spending several weeks going door-to-door in the area, Jehovah's Witnesses from parts of four states are gathering Friday in downtown for the second of two three-day conventions.
More than 6,500 people from Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma were expected to attend the district convention of Jehovah's Witnesses. Organizers say they expected a record turnout of nearly 1.5-million for the series of district conventions going on nationwide during June and July.
