Broken Arrow Police are investigating a lewd proposal made to a 9-year-old boy.

They say it happened about 11:45 PM Sunday in the 2100 block of West Jasper at an apartment complex's parking lot. They say a man in a golf cart stopped the boy to ask for directions to a nearby golf course. The man circled the parking lot and returned to proposition the boy with money. The boy ran away.

A neighbor witnessed the conversation and called security, but the suspect left the apartment complex.

The suspect is between 45 and 50 years old, between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-8 inches tall and weighs about 220 pounds. He was said to have stubble on his face.
