OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Steve Watkins allows just two hits in seven innings and Tyrell Godwin hits a grand slam to lead the New Orleans Zephyrs to a 7-nothing win over the Oklahoma RedHawks.

Watkins walked two and struck out six last night and combined with Okarche, Oklahoma, native Chris Schroeder on the shutout for the Zephyrs, who snapped a nine-game losing streak.

New Orleans broke a scoreless tie with three runs in the sixth inning off Oklahoma starter John Danks, who was making his Triple-A debut. Bernie Castro and Brendan Harris had run-scoring singles during the inning.

The Zephyrs added four runs in the eighth Godwin's grand slam off reliever Erasmo Ramirez.

Oklahoma was shut out for the fourth time since June 6th. Four of the RedHawks' last five losses have been by shutout.
