A Tulsa murder suspect has a previous murder conviction.
Tulsa County prosecutors charged Sheldon Thursday with first-degree murder. Tulsa Police say he stabbed Cynthia Hancock 12 times and put her body by a dumpster two weeks ago.
The News on 6 has learned Sheldon killed his sister three decades ago in Virginia. Tulsa Police say he served about seven years for that crime.
Records show Sheldon was also convicted in Oklahoma for making an indecent proposal to a child.
