STILWELL, Okla. (AP) -- A Stilwell man is dead after being thrown from his motorcycle and run over by a sport utility vehicle on State Highway 100 in Adair County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the accident occurred Wednesday night about five miles east of Stilwell.

Troopers say Kevin Holloway was westbound when he lost control of the motorcycle and skidded nearly 65 feet. The motorcycle then laid on its side and slid another 220 feet before Holloway was thrown more than 50 feet into the path of the eastbound SUV.

Two women in the SUV were not injured.
