WOODWARD, Okla. (AP) -- A second week of excavation is under way at a second location in the Woodward County landfill as authorities continue searching for the body of a boy missing for four years.
Undersheriff Monty Clem says searchers will go through the trash by hand starting later this week after clearing layers to get to trash dumped there in 2002.
They're looking for the body of Logan Tucker who was 6-years-old when he disappeared in June 2002. He hasn't been seen since and is believed to be dead.
Clem says the search will likely be called off in mid July if the boy's body isn't found, but he says he'll know searchers have looked everywhere possible.
Logan's mother -- Katherine Pollard -- is charged with first degree murder in the case.
