Red Cross Seeking Blood Donors

The American Red Cross and the News on 6 teamed up Tuesday to give the gift of life. <br/><br/>The Red Cross bus parked outside of our studios in downtown Tulsa to give people the chance to donate blood.

The American Red Cross and the News on 6 teamed up Tuesday to give the gift of life.

The Red Cross bus parked outside of our studios in downtown Tulsa to give people the chance to donate blood.

The Red Cross says the blood supply goes down in the summer since regular volunteers aren't around to donate. Teresa Stephens with the Red Cross: "Like, 33 percent of our blood come from high schools and colleges so everybody's out of school and on vacation and so donating isn't usually at the top of their mind."
