KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) _ Former University of Oklahoma golfer Hunter Haas wins the Nationwide Tour's Knoxville Open for the second time in three years.
Haas closed with a 3-under-par 69 Sunday for a five-stroke victory over Gary Christian and Parker McLachlin.
The 29-year-old Haas finished with a 19-under 269 total. He earned $85,500 to jump from 47th to 10th on the tour money list with $127,028.
The top 20 at the end of the season earn 2007 PGA Tour cards.
Haas opened with rounds of 67, 66 and 67 and had only five bogeys in four days.
