Tulsa Police have arrested a man for the beating and robbing of a clerk in North Tulsa. And according to officers, he's being questioned in Tulsa's latest homicides.
Billy Gene Marshall faces one count of armed robbery. Investigators say on May 30th, he attacked a clerk at J&J Bargain Depot on East Admiral with a hammer.
Detectives are also questioning Marshall in a beating and robbery at Granpa's Furniture on East Admiral on June 8th. And he's also being question about the robbery of 96-year old Elvie Toliver at her home on North St Louis last week. The suspect knocked her down and got away with a couple of dollars and a gun.
Police say Marshall is also a former neighbor of Alonzo Tibbs. The 68-year old man was found dead Wednesday night in his North Hartford home. Detectives have ruled Tibb's death a homicide.
In addition to those cases, Marshall is reportedly being questioned two other recent murders.
