MINNEAPOLIS (AP) _ The 31 Albertsons stores in Oklahoma are part of the sale of stores to a group of three investors.

Supermarket chain Supervalu, drugstore chain CVS and private firm Cerberus Capital Management will buy Albertsons for 9.7 billion dollars in cash and stock. The group will also take over nearly 7 billion dollars in debt.

Albertsons spokeswoman Jennifer Vroman says customers shouldn't notice any difference. But she wouldn't promise that all of Albertsons Oklahoma stores will remain open.

There are 15 stores in Oklahoma City and 15 in the Tulsa area. Another store and a distribution center is in Ponca City.

Albertsons has about 3100 employees in Oklahoma.
