NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Bryan Kervin capped a three-run ninth-inning rally with an RBI single to lift TCU to a 6-5 victory over Oklahoma in the NCAA baseball tournament.
Keith Conlon singled off OU starter Daniel McCutchen with one out to start the rally, then moved to second on a wild pitch. Corey Steglich drove in Conlon with a single to left and Ryan Pack's RBI double tied the game at 5 last night.
Sooners closer Will Savage then relieved McCutchen (8-8) and yielded Kervin's single, which gave the fourth-seeded Horned Frogs (39-22) their 11th straight win.
TCU starter Jake Arrieta (14-4) gave up five runs on nine hits in 8-and-a-third innings, and Sam Demel got the final two outs for his sixth save.
McCutchen gave up six runs on nine hits. He struck out 11 and walked four.
