OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A total of 117 state Insurance Department employees got their state pay a day late on Thursday, but steps have been taken to make sure it doesn't happen again, said Claudia San Pedro, director of the Office of State Finance.

San Pedro said a computer glitch caused the problem for insurance employees who have their state pay directly deposited into their bank accounts.

She said a new computer program will be used and a review process is being set up by the OSF to double-check agency payroll information.

"It will never happen again," she said.
